In 1942, Lin Bozhu, director of Beidaihe Coastal Scenic Area Administration, built it and sold it to the Japanese Eastern Jincaoyan. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, it was nationalized. In the 1950s and 1960s, He Xiangning used to work in the summer office for many times and was called He Xiangning Villa.
